Statutes & Regulations

The WCF publishes statutes and regulations to govern its own conduct of business and the administration of WCF Events.   Amendments to the Statutes and Regulations are recommended by the Management Committee and require the approval of the WCF Council with a two-thirds majority of the votes cast for Statute changes and a simple majority of the votes cast for Regulation changes.

Minor amendments to the Regulations may be recommended by the Management Committee under the "dot release" procedure whereby the proposed draft is published to the Council and, if no objections are received by the stated date (usually 21 days or one calendar month), the draft replaces the current version from that date with an appropriate change to the version number (e.g. 4.2 to 4.3).  If any WCF Member does raise an objection or calls for a vote, the formal approval of the WCF Council will have to be obtained.
