The European Regional Committee (ERC) are pleased to announce the appointment of Martins Grinhofs as our new Events Co-ordinator.
The role will involve managing all the admin required for our European Championships. Typically, the ERC schedule two to three events each year.
Martins is an IT consultant based in Sigulda, Latvia, where he is also a member of the local croquet club. He has helped to organise and run several recent Latvian events, including the European Women’s Championship and the European Under 21’s. He’s organised some of their video streaming and has been responsible for some of the social media updates. Martins is climbing the GC rankings, currently ranked in the 1700’s.
Martins says “Croquet has become a significant hobby of mine in recent years, and I am passionate about contributing to the sport's development. This role presents an exciting opportunity to further develop my skills while supporting the European Championships.”
